Anchorage Engagement Session // Marjorie + Wheeler

Marjorie and Wheeler's engagement session took place in Anchorage, Alaska at Lyn Ary Park. Marjorie told me she has great memories of spending time with her family at that particular park. It was sweet that she and Wheeler were able to make some more memories together in such a special place.

On the day of their session it rained all day. Luckily when I arrived early to the park, it seemed to be the one place in town that wasn't raining. Unfortunately when Marjorie and Wheeler arrived, it started to totally pour down. We went over some different options, and we decided that we would give it a few minutes to try to wait it out. I'm so glad Marjorie made that choice because shortly after, out of no where, the sky started to clear up, and the sun even came out. Their session ended up having a wide variety of lighting from overcast to dramatic and everything turned out beautifully!

Marjorie and Wheeler are both so sweet and they compliment each other perfectly. I'm truly so excited for their wedding. Marjorie is totally stunning, and she's going to be such a gorgeous bride! :)
